In her opening remarks, Dr. N. Nurlaela Arief, MAB., IAPR., Director of Communication and Public Relations at ITB, emphasized that the workshop was not just a technical training, but part of ITB’s long-term strategy to build an integrated digital communication ecosystem. "Through active student involvement in producing campus content—whether in articles, videos, or translated materials—the DREAM ITB team will play a key role in sharing ITB’s stories with the national public and even internationally," she stated.

She also underscored the critical role of students in campus communication, especially in supporting ITB’s digital presence, which is vital for advancing ITB’s position in the top 150 of the World University Rankings (WUR).

This training serves as an introduction before participants engage in various campus activities such as seminars, research, community service, and showcasing faculty and student achievements. The goal is for students to not only write, translate, and create content, but also develop critical thinking in selecting compelling photo angles, drafting engaging news perspectives, preparing sharp interview questions, and producing optimal content.
