MoU ITB-SWJTU: Focus on Strengthening Scientific Research

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Southwest Jiatong University (SWJTU), during the agenda of the invitation to the charming Sichuan Higher Education Exhibition on Thursday (24/4/2025) at the Crowne Plaza, Bandung.
The MoU was signed by the ITB鈥檚 rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., and the President of Southwest Jiaotong University, Prof. Yan Xuedong. The purpose of this MoU is to Strengthening international collaboration in the field of scientific research.

This MoU became an official platform for any other collaborative activities between two institution, such as academic exchanges, joint research, the organization of periodical seminars, and submissions of international collaborative project.

This MoU will remain in effect for five years and it can be extended for an additional five-year period. Both parties also remain open to future amendments through mutual agreement.

This signing is expected to mark the beginning of a long-term collaboration between ITB and SWJTU in producing high-impact, world-class research.
