In this competition, participants were challenged to develop a comprehensive oil and gas field development plan, covering reservoir evaluation, drilling design, production facility planning, economic analysis, as well as HSE and local content aspects. With the theme "From Concept to Reality: Designing Integrated Field Development Plans That Foster National Energy Resilience and Sustainable Growth," the competition emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary integration and the application of low-carbon technologies.

The best scenario proposed by the team included CCS, tax incentives, and carbon credits, supporting a green economy and aligning with the Paris Agreement. (Team’s documentation)

The NAWASENA team designed a carbon dioxide injection and utilization scenario that not only addressed technical aspects but also strengthened the project’s economic viability and sustainability.

This success was driven by the team’s strategy to improve coordination, establish an effective work timeline, and engage in direct cross-disciplinary discussions. Additionally, support from supervising lecturers, alumni, and internship mentors contributed to refining the development plan.

This achievement demonstrates that ITB students are capable of competing and contributing to real-world challenges in the energy industry, both at the national and international levels.
