In his opening remarks, the Rector reminisced about the personal bonds and interactions that had been fostered over decades with many members of the ITB community, including staff and education personnel present at the event.

"I have been acquainted with many of you since I was a student. Praise be to God, we can still see each other today in good health and high spirits," the Rector conveyed.

He then expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the service and dedication of the retirees. "May all your contributions forever be a source of continuous charity, as it is one of the deeds that never ceases," he prayed.

Additionally, the Rector highlighted the importance of the ITB Harmoni Purnabakti Family in nurturing the health and spirit of the retirees. He emphasized that maintaining close ties with one another is a way to prolong both life and happiness. "I am delighted to see that you are still active and caring for each other. This is a source of happiness and blessings," he asserted.

The Rector hopes that similar events will continue to thrive, strengthening the familial bonds between ITB retirees, academia, and the whole ITB community."
