BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – Keluarga Paduan Angklung (KPA) ITB (lit: ITB’s Angklung Choir Family) held the “KPA ITB in Concert 2025” at Dago Tea House, Bandung, on Sunday (May 11, 2025). The concert carried the theme "Amoris Reviviscens" with the tagline Where Love Returns. Amoris means love, and reviviscens means revival. Besides referring to the story portrayed, the theme also relates to KPA’s concert coming back to life after a 5-year hiatus following the pandemic.
The story portrayed in this concert revolves around a couple who met while taking refuge during an earthquake in their high school years, were separated during their university time, and finally reunited after achieving success.
The event, which lasted for over an hour, featured 134 performers divided into four segments, each led by a different conductor. These four performances captivated an audience of more than 450 people. The conductors were Ervina Rahimi Sulistiyo (Oceanography, 2022), Alma Felicia Vielrizki (Information Systems and Technology, 2022), Aryo Priya Tsany Ruswansyah (Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, 2023), and Indrawan (Oceanography, 2022).
A total of 11 songs were arranged using a combination of angklung instruments and several other musical instruments. Some of the songs performed included Roman Picisan, Cinta Sejati, Sang Dewi, and others.

Fianka Mulianing Qalbu (Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, 2022), Chairperson of KPA ITB in Concert 2025, said that the preparation for this concert had been underway for about a year. This concert marked KPA’s first performance since the Covid-19 pandemic. “The biggest challenge was that the previous concert was held five years ago, so transferring knowledge was very difficult. We had never done this before; there was no precedent,” she explained. However, the concert’s return reflects KPA’s independence and commitment to creating new works.
The concert was also attended by representatives of the Governor of West Java, Melinda Rizki, S.S., M.M.; ITB Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T.; Director of Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. apt. Muhammad Insanu, S.Si., M.Si.; Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Indonesian Angklung Enthusiasts Association (Bahasa: Ketua Pembina DPP perhimpunan Penggiat Angklung Indonesia, PPAI), Eddy Permadi; and a representative from Saung Angklung Udjo, Taufik Hidayat Udjo.
