This collaboration focuses on three key pillars: health education and literacy, research and science-based product development, and community service. Through this partnership, SF ITB and Tentang Anak are committed to delivering tangible innovations addressing child health challenges in Indonesia, ranging from stunting and animal protein needs to the development of child health products such as multivitamins and skincare backed by scientific research.
Dean of the School of Pharmacy ITB, Prof. apt. Diky Mudhakir, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., emphasized the importance of this collaboration to ensure that research conducted on campus delivers direct benefits to society.
“Children’s health is the foundation of the nation’s future. By partnering with Tentang Anak, we aim to ensure that research does not stop in the laboratory but truly benefits Indonesian families. In fact, one in four Indonesian children still suffers from stunting. Therefore, this collaboration creates an important platform for our students and researchers to develop innovations that directly address child health challenges in Indonesia,” said Prof. Diky.
Chief Executive Officer of Tentang Anak, Mesty Ariotedjo, stated that this collaboration serves as a bridge between research outcomes and the real needs of society.
“Many research findings remain in journals, while parents in Indonesia urgently need practical solutions to optimize their children’s growth and development. This collaboration becomes the bridge that allows research to live, grow, and make a direct impact on Indonesian children. Together with the School of Pharmacy ITB, we are committed to presenting trustworthy, science-based products,” she explained.
With this shared vision, SF ITB and Tentang Anak hope the collaboration will not only generate innovative products, but also contribute meaningfully toward improving child health in Indonesia for years to come.
